A man has died following a single-vehicle rollover at Diamond Valley on Wednesday night, April 29.
Emergency services were called to Diamond Valley Road about 9.10pm after reports a Toyota LandCruiser station wagon had left the roadway and crashed.
A Queensland Police Service spokesperson confirmed a 42-year-old Diamond Valley man, the passenger of the vehicle, was treated at the scene but later declared deceased.
The driver, a 40-year-old Moffat Beach man, was not injured.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics arrived shortly before 9.10pm and assessed both occupants at the scene. One male patient in his 40s was checked and declined transport to hospital.
A second man in his 40s sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and was treated on scene by paramedics. A QAS spokesperson confirmed a rescue helicopter was initially tasked to the incident; however, following assessment, the patient did not require air transport.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation, with police working to determine how the vehicle left the roadway.
Investigators are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
