Year 10 technology students cook up tasty market day treats for their fellow students

Students at Beerwah State High School have hosted a very successful Market Day event for their school community.
Year 10 Food Innovation and Design students have researched market products, made and tasted numerous samples, created stall advertising and hosted a Market Day for the school community.
The market had a variety of stalls, all offering different dishes to tantalise taste buds, allowing all those in attendance to have choice and variety.
Here are a few comments from our Year 10 students who were involved:
“It was an enlightening experience about being a seller in the market environment,” Jakobi, Pippa and Ruby said.
“My stall sold out in five minutes, I wasn’t expecting that,” Ryder said.
“A bit stressful but worth it,” Ebony said.
