MASTERPIECE Dance opened its 2026 competition season in impressive fashion at the Kingaroy Eisteddfod from May 16-17, with 40 students taking part across 12 routines and every performance finishing in the top three.
The studio collected six first-place results during a successful weekend of competition.
Highlights included the 10 years Musical Theatre and Acro sections with “Rewrite the Stars”, while the 12 years teams claimed top honours in Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Musical Theatre.
The 16 years Acro team also finished first with its routine “Maria”.
Masterpiece Dance added four runner-up finishes and two third placings to round out a strong start to the year.
