MOOLOOLAH Valley residents came together on Friday, December 13, for a community Christmas event hosted by the Mooloolah Valley Community Association.
More than 100 people attended the late-afternoon to early-evening celebration, which featured a range of family activities. Santa Claus visited the event, meeting children and posing for photos.
Entertainment included pony rides, farm animals, card-making and face painting. Local market stalls sold handmade items, while food and drink options included ice creams and mocktails. The Best Dressed competition was judged by Member for Glass House Andrew Powell, with prizes also awarded for the Best Christmas House Lights Display and raffle draws.
The event concluded with community carol singing as evening set in.
Organisers said the gathering reflected the strong sense of connection within the Mooloolah Valley community and provided an opportunity for residents to come together ahead of Christmas.
