THE Mooloolah Public Hall has raised $609.25 for cancer research and support services following a recent successful Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea event.
Community members gathered at the hall for the Cuppa for Cancer fundraiser, which featured raffles, homemade baked goods, tea and coffee, and donations from local businesses and residents.
Hall committee members thanked the community for its strong support, saying the event highlighted the generosity and spirit of the Mooloolah township.
Special recognition was given to Mooloolah Bakehouse and other local businesses that donated prizes, hampers, flowers, wellness gifts and vouchers for the fundraiser.
Organisers said the event was about more than fundraising, describing the hall as a gathering place built on connection, kindness and community support.
The committee thanked volunteers, donors and attendees for helping create a successful and meaningful morning tea event.
