We had a brilliant turn out to the Free Rock Wall Climbing Day at the Mooloolah Recreation Ground.
The event was put on by the Mooloolah Valley Community Association Inc and sponsored by the Sunshine Coast Council Minor Grants Scheme.
Between the operational hours of 9am and 4pm, we had 510 participants – which is amazing!
Event officer Jason Carroll said “Mooloolah is crying out for events that are family friendly and free and with support from the Sunshine Coast Council Grants Scheme and the Community Association we can put on an event like this and many more!”
“We have in the pipeline Emergency Services Day on the 8th October, which was held back in 2019 involving all emergency services vehicles where the kids can go into. We also have planned for the 3rd December a Family Outdoor Cinema Night and food trucks.”
