New Caloundra South Emergency Services Precinct Officially Opens

The new state-of-the-art Caloundra South emergency services precinct has officially opened, enhancing frontline health and community safety for the growing region.

The $29.9 million precinct brings police, fire, and ambulance services together in one location, strategically positioned at the Aura Town Centre with access to key transport routes for rapid response.

Premier Steven Miles said the precinct would provide essential support to the expanding community.

“This modern facility will have all three agencies in one location, ready to respond to any emergency,” Mr Miles said. “This is just another example of my government doing what matters by delivering world-class facilities for our emergency services.”

The $8.5 million fire station will operate 24/7, featuring a three-bay engine room, a training tower, and capacity for 50 firefighters. The $7.9 million ambulance station will house 16 paramedics, while the $13.5 million police station includes investigation workspaces, interview rooms, and a major incident conference room.

Caloundra MP Jason Hunt said the new precinct was a milestone for the region.

“This precinct guarantees that our emergency services have a fit-for-purpose facility to meet the needs of our rapidly growing community,” he said.
