The State Government has unveiled plans to revitalise Woolloongabba in preparation for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, aiming to restore pride in the event and create a lasting legacy for Queenslanders.
The proposed Woolloongabba Entertainment Precinct will boost tourism, investment, housing, and connectivity, establishing the area as a key entertainment and urban hub. The development aligns with major infrastructure like the Cross River Rail to ensure seamless transport access.
Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning, Jarrod Bleijie, described it as a once-in-a-generation opportunity to transform Woolloongabba.
