New owners add colour to Mitre 10

Mooloolah Mitre 10’s transformation is continuing at a rapid pace, with new owners Isaac and Nick unveiling a dedicated paint-mixing station that is already proving a drawcard for local DIY enthusiasts and trades. The upgraded facility brings Dulux, Accent and Cabots products into the heart of the township for the first time, offering residents professional-grade colour matching and a broader selection of finishes without the need to travel to the coast.
The paint station forms part of the store’s wider modernisation since the pair took over in November 2024. Over the past 12 months, the hardware store has expanded its overall product range by more than 40 per cent, boosted by new landscaping supplies, timber and plumbing lines, and an enhanced selection of pool chemicals. This growth includes a dedicated pool room offering free water testing and a refreshed garden centre now stocked with plants, giftware and everyday garden essentials.
Improvements outside the store are also noticeable, with angled parking and a new pedestrian crossing making access safer and more convenient.
Click & Collect and local delivery services are also available.
By listening closely to community feedback, Isaac and Nick are positioning Mooloolah Mitre 10 as a genuine local hub for DIY, garden and home improvement needs.
