WITH New Year’s Eve right around the corner, here is a list of what’s on in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland and surrounds to celebrate the end of 2022 and welcome the start of 2023.
-Beerwah Hotel, Beerwah
The Beerwah Hotel are hosting a 90s themed New Year’s Eve party with plenty of entertainment throughout the night including live music from No Right Turn, alongside DJ Mr Sparkles. The party starts at 8pm and goes until late.
-Club Glass House, Glass House Mountains
Club Glass House will be celebrating the end of 2022 with live entertainment from the Reserves who will perform a number of classic rock covers from 8pm to 1am. The restaurant will be running as usual on the night with the bar closing at 12:30am.
-The Long Apron, Montville
Montville’s modern French restaurant, The Long Apron, will be hosting a sophisticated five course dinner on New Year’s Eve from 7pm to 10:30pm. Tickets are still available for $220 per person, with the menu still being finalised.
-Aussie World, Palmview
Aussie World will be hosting ‘Ride the Night New Year’s Eve’, which promises to be an exhilarating end to 2022. All the rides will be functioning throughout the night, and they will also have live entertainment, food and a fireworks display. The event starts at 5pm.
-Kings Beach Ampitheatre and Lions Park, Kings Beach
Caloundra will be having a family friendly New Year’s Eve celebration to finish the year with a bang. The event starts at 4pm with the fireworks display kicking off at 9:30pm. There will also be a movie showing of ‘Minions: The Rise of Gru’ and carnival rides for the kiddies, live entertainment and food stalls.
And if you want something to do on New Year’s Day, the Maleny Hotel will be hosting a Recovery Party, which will include live music from Sunza Beaches from 12:30pm and a pizza and a pinot or pint deal for $29 per person from 11:30am.
