Panto fun at the Playhouse

MALENY Players Christmas pantomime ‘The Princess and the Golden Casket’, written by Rob Hobson and directed by Rob and Kim Zwalf, will bring together well-known characters from fairy tales and rhymes in the quest by Princess Alice (Scarlett Hirt) to find the Golden Casket.

Alice and the Huntsman (Sam Hamilton-Barry) travel through the dark forest meeting other characters along the way. The Queen (Catriona McKechnie), Alice’s stepmother, is also searching for the Golden Casket.

Who will find the casket first and unlock its powers? To find out come along to the Playhouse and all will be revealed.

Opening night is on Friday, December 10 at 7.30pm with shows on Saturday, December 11 at 2pm and 7.30pm and again on Sunday, December 12 at 2pm.

Tickets are $20 for adults, including one free drink and nibbles, $15 for under 18 years and under 5 years are free.
