WHAT a wonderful day it was for a picnic in the park as the Combined Glasshouse Probus Club celebrated Probus Day in grand style!
Dressed in blue and gold to mark the occasion, members filled the Glasshouse Community Park with colour, laughter, and the unmistakable spirit of Friendship, Fellowship and Fun.
The celebrations on October 15 featured a lively BBQ lunch, with steak and sausages cooked to perfection and an abundance of food and refreshments to share.
Many thanks were extended to the cooks, organisers, and helpers who set up the blue gazebo and to locals Sue and Les for graciously lending it.
The fine weather made it a perfect day for games, conversation and good humour.
Adding to the fun was special guest Cr Jenny Broderick, who joined the festivities and introduced members to Pickleball on the new basketball courts.
Lucky door prizes added to the smiles, while balloons in blue and gold fluttered above the laughter and chatter of 19 happy Probians enjoying each other’s company.
It was, as always, a true reflection of the club’s spirit, celebrating connection, friendship, and the joy of community.
