The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a fatal motorbike crash that occurred overnight in Peregian Springs.
At around 9.40pm, a motorbike travelling north on the Sunshine Coast Motorway left the road and struck a light pole near the Peregian Springs Drive, Emu Mountain Road roundabout. The rider, a 34-year-old Wurtulla man, died at the scene.
Police urge witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. Investigations continue.
