THIS month, sadly, we have lost a friend and one-time fellow Probian, Ron Butts. Ron, an ex-Olympian Wrestler representing New Zealand, was the Club Greeter – always with a big smile and a bear-hug. Vale Ron.
In spite of the fog, rain and cold on the range, our Members had a great dining-out experience in Montville. Those who visited the Camel Farm this week had a great experience, blessed with bright sunshine.
Thank you to our guest speaker for July, Judy Tomlinson. Judy told us so much about the Glasshouse Country Area and the many scenic places to visit. We learned about the variety of the crops grown in this area which is another good reason to go out and see them.
