Rangebow festival celebrating diversity and inclusion returns for 2024

NOW in its third glorious year, the fabulous Rangebow Festival returns for another crowd pleasing celebration of diversity, inclusion, sustainability and connection.
Tickets are on sale now for the four day event packed with live music, entertainment, feasting quirky performances and much more.
Festival Director, Wayne Parcell, who recently campaigned for Sunshine Coast Council Mayor, said he was committed to delivering on the promise to provide an accessible 2024 festival, with many experiences offered free.
For example this year’s Enchanted Garden program from Friday to Sunday, offers a full day of live music, entertainment and performances. The line-up includes Frank and Louis, Shanleigh Rose, Andy V and Sophie Delightful’s circus performances.
“Everyone can find some joy in the festival, especially in these tough times,” Mr Parcell said.
Sunshine Coast Council Division 5 Councillor, Winston Johnston OAM, said
the Rangebow Festival was a bright light on the Sunshine Coast events calendar. He urged people to buy tickets early to ensure event organisers had the confidence to keep delivering creative and entertaining experiences.
“I’m delighted to see Rangebow Festival celebrate its third annual event. This festival is a wonderful opportunity to connect and engage our communities to build a better future for everyone,” Cr Johnston said.

Running from Thursday August 1 to Sunday August 4, early-bird online tickets sold through May attract a special 15 per cent discount.
This year’s festival offers a diverse variety of experiences from Forage Fire Feast, a fiery First Nations gourmet food and culture experience at Flaxton Gardens to the more risqué, After-dinner mintz – Burlesque night in Maleny.
The Opera Symphony Premiere features the Sunshine Coast Symphony Orchestra playing a classical and operatic program, however, for a more intimate experience, the glass and stone Chapel of Love has limited tickets for an exquisite concert of harp, flute and cello.
Also on offer is the opportunity to Take a Walk on the Wild Side – Platypus Whispers for experiences of land and nature guided by global sensation, Neil Andison, The Platypus Whisperer.
The Drag Run-a-way Pageant returns as well as the Plant & Party live music in Russell Family Park, Montville experience.
For something more thoughtful, ‘A conversation in loneliness: The Great Separation’, will be a unique curated discussion with Joey Fry, protagonist in the documentary ‘The Great Separation’, alternatively attend Sound Bath at Mapleton, for an immersive meditation and music experience.
