Repairs to the D’Aguilar Highway

Repairs to the concrete batter on the D’Aguilar Highway, Blackbutt, is expected to commence soon, which will stabilise the batter slope and minimise the likelihood of slips onto the road.

It will also help improve drivers safety on the road and reduce the need for on going maintenance.

Crews will access the site using an elevated work platform and rope access may also be required to undertake this specialised work.

Construction is expected to start in late January 2024, weather and construction scheduling permitting, and will happen between 7am-5pm, Monday to Saturday.

It is expected to take 10 weeks to complete, weather and construction conditions permitting.
