The floods have highlighted growing problem of local roads being used as thoroughfares.
Andrew Powell MP was in Peachester today hearing about the issues created by the closure of Kilcoy-Beerwah Rd at Peachester and the overused Commissioners Flat Rd (which has resulted in crashes and near misses).
That is not to mention the three-hour round trip some locals have endured just to get into town.
The good news: the imminent reopening of Kilcoy-Beerwah Rd today.
Is this a broader problem? Is there a solution? Locals only signs? Slower speed limits? Have your say here
