Roll on up to the Maleny Country Fair

THE renewed and expanded Maleny Country Fair is back this September! After several disruptions to many community events since the beginning of the pandemic, three local Primary Schools’ Parents Associations have joined forces in the spirit of cooperation and mutual support to re-imagine a Country Fair for everyone, from the young to the young at heart.

Maleny State School, Conondale State School and The River School have come together to put on a stellar Country Fair at the Maleny State School on Friday, September 9 from 3.30pm.

This renewed and expanded event will see Maleny State School’s main oval transformed into a traditional ‘Village Green’ filled with stalls offering fresh food and favourite homemade treats, assorted games, a licensed bar, sideshow rides and other great attractions such as a mobile farm, fire engine, croquet and TS Centaur Naval Cadets and more.

There’ll also be a packed entertainment program featuring local community groups, school bands, choirs, dance groups and associated professional performers.

This year, the event will go cashless for the games, food and beverage stalls, with a common pricing structure across all stalls. Stall tickets can be purchased by cash, card and mobile device on the day in ‘the shed’, or can be pre-purchased online and collected at the gate on the day, for use throughout the Fair.
