HINTERLAND community groups, clubs and organisations are being invited to apply for grant funding worth up to $2,000 in the 2023 round of the Rotary Club of Maleny’s community grants scheme.
The Club’s Director of Community Groups, Rick Vickers, said he was pleased Maleny Rotary was able to offer this community benefit grant opportunity, and he strongly encouraged people to apply. Applications are open until September 11 and the selection criteria was relatively straight forward.
“Basically we want to give back funds we’ve raised in our community into supporting organisations, projects and programs that support our Hinterland communities,” he said.
“We have a good funding pool available this year and we encourage any local not for profit or community group to apply so we can support their initiatives that can benefit or add value to our community.” Applicants are invited to put forward their initiative, program or project explaining how it will benefit the Hinterland community, and how if successful they plan to acknowledge the Rotary Club of Maleny.
