MORE than 70 members and guests gathered for the Rotary Club of Maleny Changeover Dinner at The Barrel, Clouds Vineyard, Bald Knob, on Wednesday, July 1, as the club formally installed Greg Williams as president for the 2026–27 Rotary year.
Outgoing president Scott Wassmann handed over the chain of office during the annual ceremony, which also introduced the club’s new executive and committee members and welcomed several new Rotarians.
The evening recognised the club’s achievements over the past 12 months while outlining priorities for the year ahead, including continued support for local and international community projects.
Long-serving members were also honoured for their outstanding commitment to Rotary, with John McLennan receiving special recognition for an exceptional 50 years of service to the Maleny club.
Guests enjoyed a celebratory dinner as members marked the leadership transition and acknowledged the contribution of volunteers who continue to strengthen the organisation and its community impact.
