RSPCA hosts Maleny event to highlight animal rescues

The Queensland branch of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) is hosting a number of events in different regions to give local residents the opportunity to hear more about its work with animal rescue.

Maleny is hosting one such event this Monday when a local RSPCA inspector will talk about their involvement in the rescue, treatment and rehabilitation of animals in our area over the past year.

The discussion is expected to increase awareness of the important work the organisation does throughout Queensland.

Anyone is welcome to join the RSPCA at this event, which will be held in the Verandah Room at the Maleny Community Centre, and morning tea will be provided free of charge to all who attend.

It will be held from 10:30am to 12 noon.

To help with catering, it is asked that all who wish to attend send an RSVP to Aileen:  telephone 0439 954 111 or email amcgregorlowndes@rspcaqld.org.au
