A SUCCESSFUL term 3 grading has seen nearly all of 37 Beerwah and Maleny San Training centre students level up to a new belt.
Most students were aiming for white or yellow belts, with a handful going for red band two belts.
This grading did not include black belt gradings, however San Training Owner Cameron Taylor said the students displayed a high level of effort which showed in the average grade total.
“Not all passed but the majority did, we score the students out of 100, and the average score was 80 out of 100, then we had six students who received more than 90,” he said.
“Three students graded for the red band two belt, which is two belts away from black belt, and our next black belt grading isn’t until December.”
Students who received over 90 got a distinction award for their efforts, and those students included, Riley Ferguson, Lois Finley, Jayda Marshall, Neve Murdy, Jemimah Kluver and Jovie Green (pictured).
