THE Maleny Agricultural Show is set to take centre stage later this month as the Hinterland’s premier event in 2026, promising two huge days of entertainment, competition and community spirit at the Maleny Showgrounds.
From the arena to the pavilions, visitors can expect a packed program of horse events, showjumping, dairy, beef, poultry and livestock competitions across both days, alongside the ever-popular woodchop on Saturday, proudly supported by the Maleny Hotel.
Families will be spoiled for choice with free entertainment throughout the grounds, including side show alley, showbags, trade exhibits and pavilion displays showcasing local talent, produce and craftsmanship.
The main ring will come alive each evening with a full entertainment program capped by spectacular fireworks displays on both nights.
Adding to the atmosphere, the Cattleman’s Bar will provide the perfect place to relax, catch up with friends and enjoy the show in full swing.
This year’s line-up of attractions promises something for everyone. Teralba Bees will offer hands-on educational experiences with live bees, honey tasting and wax activities, while Dinky D’s Trackless Train brings a nostalgic ride for younger visitors.
Funky Books Live with Chris Collin will deliver interactive storytelling, and Wildlife Unleashed will showcase Australia’s native animals with a strong conservation message.
High-energy action will be led by Flair Action Sports freestyle motocross, Cowgirls with Wings trick riding, and KC’s Arena Spectacular featuring monster trucks, jet cars and a grand fireworks finale.
Country Stars will also return, showcasing rising Australian music talent.
With its mix of tradition, thrills and family-friendly fun, the 2026 Maleny Show promises an unforgettable weekend May 29-30, 2026 for all ages at 13 Maleny-Stanley River Road, Maleny www.malenyshowsociety.org.au/events/maleny-agricultural-show/the-show
