A notable Anzac Day event in Maleny was the opening of Snapshots from Home, with a full house responding enthusiastically to the Maleny Players’ vibrant production.
Guest of honour was author Margery Forde, now a Maleny resident, who attended with her daughter Katy Forde, writer of the musical theatre hit A Girl’s Guide to World War, set in World War I. At the end of the show, Margery received a spontaneous standing ovation from the audience.
