Beerwah State School is halfway through the term in our Kitchen Garden and students from our junior years have been very busy! Cooking up a storm in our kitchen; using freshly picked herbs and vegetables from our garden, students are practising and developing new skills in creating nutritious and delicious dishes.
Green thumbs are out and ready for spring with new produce including some native raspberry, plum and mint planting this week! We have also been working up our appetites mulching, weeding and tending to our already established crop of cabbage, potatoes and snow peas.
Well done to our hard working year 1 and 2 students, keep up the great work!
