LANDSBOROUGH State School has welcomed many new families to their school community for 2025, including 52 Prep students. Despite a few first-day tears from students (and parents), there was a sense of excitement and celebration for this magnificent milestone that will be long remembered.
Students have spent the first few weeks of the school year getting to know each other, making new friends, and adjusting to daily school routines. In class, the Preps have been developing their counting skills and learning how to correctly form the letters of the alphabet to write their name.
They have also explored the wider school environment, familiarising themselves with the different places on campus, such as the playground, sandpit, library, toilets, and drink stations. They have also met other special members of the school community, such as the Principal, Head of Curriculum, Librarian, Groundsman, and Specialist Teachers.
It’s been a wonderful start to the school year, and the fun has only just begun!
