THE Maleny Christmas Street Festival lit up Maple Street on Friday, December 13, celebrating the spirit that makes Maleny unique.
Organiser Sam Moore thanked the many locals who brought the night to life, saying events like this only happen when people step up and believe in coming together. Special thanks went to Jim from Maleny Jewellers, Witta Markets, Neil the Platypus Whisperer, Rotary, APEX and Maleny IGA, along with performers Goat Track Theatre, the Salvation Army Brass Band, Carnival Drummers and Hayden Hack.
Maleny Commerce’s Rob Dodd said the atmosphere was joyful, crowds flowed through shops, Riverside came alive and retailers were delighted.
