Students still connecting

PEACHESTER State School Students have brightened up the day of local aged care residents with some COVID-friendly creativity.

While the virus restricted access for many visitors in aged care, some students from Peachester School used their extra time at school last week to make their own paper and turn it into home-made cards.

They then wrote letters and sent them to ten aged care residents on the Sunshine Coast.

The residents received a letter and photo of the children and teachers who had made the cards.

One of the residents reported to his wife that “The card made his day”.
