Got Questions About Life? Try Alpha.
Life in the Hinterland has a way of making people think deeper.
Maybe it’s the mountains, our creative community, or the conversations that happen over coffee, markets, school pick-ups, or walking the dog. Whatever it is, many of us here are spiritually curious.
We are searching for peace, meaning, connection, and a safe place to ask the big questions.
That is exactly what Alpha is about.
Alpha is a relaxed course for anyone who has ever wondered, “Is there more to life than this? Why do I feel like something is missing? What is faith really about? Can I ask questions without being judged?”
The answer is yes. At Alpha, there’s no pressure, no awkward spotlight, and no expectations from you. Each session includes food, a short film-style talk, and open conversation. You can speak, listen, question, disagree, wonder out loud, or simply sit back and take it in.
And maybe this is worth saying too: faith was never meant to be stiff, boring, or boxed into lifeless routine. True faith is full of life, freedom, honesty, and hope.
It’s not about pretending, performing, or doing all the things that “look” spiritual. It is about discovering something real.
Senior Pastors Peter & Michelle Maher, along with a wonderful team at The Range Church, run Alpha because they believe everyone deserves an open and honest space to explore life’s biggest questions.
Wherever you’re at in life or faith, there’s a seat for you at the Alpha table.
Everyone’s invited. Every question matters. Alpha is a free course available to everyone.
