GET set for the start of something big.
Glasshouse Country’s favourite festival is back with HinterWonderLand set to delight family and friends across a day and night packed with entertainment on Saturday, November 12.
The street party, which will once again be held along Simpson Street, Beerwah, kicks off at 1pm with a quality line-up of live music, artisan stalls, local talent, rides, school performances, an “Eat Street” and much more.
For organisers, the day is planned to be a fantastic celebration of all things Glasshouse Country.
This will be the fifth community Street Party, which has become a much-loved and sustainable event that provides a superb opportunity for local businesses, not-for-profit organisations, musicians, performers, artisans and families to showcase our wonderful part of the world.
It is also about thinking big and building a legacy for years to come.
Glasshouse Country Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be hosting this year’s event, with the assistance of Jack Rabbit Events, a local Beerwah business.
The organisers believe it has become such a key part of the local country calendar since its inception in 2014, that there is a genuine belief it could be expanded across the region.
The momentum this wonderful event has gained since those early years is thanks to the tireless work of community stalwarts including Debbie Ives, Jenny Broderick and Judy Tomlinson. A big thanks must also go to the ongoing support of Sunshine Coast Regional Council for hosting the very first street party event back in 2014.
Glasshouse Country Chamber of Commerce now hopes to take the Street Party to other towns in the region, all the way to the 2032 Olympics and beyond!
For the 2022 event, as in past years, the Simpson Street precinct will be closed to vehicle traffic from ALDI to Peachester-Kilcoy Road, including the Beerwah Village Shopping Centre carpark.
Mark the date on your calendar: Saturday 12th November 2022 from 1pm to 10pm, and be sure to buy your tickets in the Major Prize Draw. First prize is $1,000 Cash and gifts galore!
Tickets are only $5 and you don’t have to be there for the draw if you are too busy climbing the rock wall or spinning in the Cup and Saucer!
