THOSE guys, formerly known as Get Stumped, have won their A Grade touch grand final 13-0 against the Showbags in their fourth undefeated season.
The B Grade and C Grade grand finals took place at the same time, with the Erections defeating the Leakless Plumbing team 9-0, and the Peachester Nuts winning against the Cowboys 4-1.
Glasshouse District Touch President Rob Young said the Peachester Nuts have also been a consistent side over the last few years in the social touch comps.
“The Peachester Nuts have won the C Grade grand final for the fourth consecutive season,” he said.
“In a fast paced match in which the Cowboys threw everything at the Nuts, their try line defence was fantastic.”
The referees pick the best and fairest players each season no matter where their teams placed, and the players selected were Emma Small from the Cowboys and Charlie Geeves from Be Farm Fit.
“Both players played consistently and with outstanding sportsmanship the entire season,” Young said.
The Glasshouse District Touch Association’s summer social touch season is set to start up October 10 this year.
