Queenslanders from all walks of life are being encouraged to apply now for over 10,000 casual election official roles. Applications are currently open to fill the thousands of paid positions required to deliver the Queensland local government elections scheduled for March 16, 2024.
Electoral Commissioner, Pat Vidgen, said applications were welcome from Queenslanders from all backgrounds and in all parts of the state.
“We’re recruiting now for the Council elections, so if you’re interested in helping to deliver democracy on the ground and help people in your community to have their say, then one of these roles might be a great fit for you,” he said.
