THE Tibros Tiger Eyes have won their Division Two grand final 35-30 against the Unity Roses in the Caloundra Junior Netball competition on September 10.
Tiger Eyes coach, Sam Douglas, expressed how hard the team worked to secure the grand final win on the day.
“The game was hard fought as the girls had to fight for every goal they got,” he said.
“The whole team worked well together to get the win with each player doing what was needed to take the win out.”
Douglas told GC&M News that despite the close final score, the Tibros side closed out each quarter with a lead, further underlining their dominance.
Sam has been coaching the team for three years now, and said the Tiger Eyes had a mix of players who have been there for a few seasons, and new players who joined the team this year.
