THE official launch of The Rangebow Festival at The Banana Bender Hotel kicked off in style on Wednesday June 30. The event’s major partner Sunshine & Sons helped to introduce festival characters with The Sunshine Sisters first on stage strutting their glam before the Volcanic Goddess had guests all hot and hotter. Mr Zany, Mr Cane and Mr Barista rocked and rolled with unbridled hilarity and style with the audience submerged in exuberant costumes,colour and entertainment.
The Rangebow Festival runs over four big days from August 10-13, with more than 30 events across The Range. There will be something for everyone including the biggest Symphony Orchestra performance to ever perform on The Range. There’s also Cabaret, Opera in the Chapel, Drag Workshops and Pageant, topical in-conversations, Indigenous cuisine and so much more. It’s like nothing seen before on the coast!
