THREE Wyrd Sisters (magical but magnanimous witches) and a multitude of other charismatic characters will be celebrating British author Terry Pratchett’s quirky humour at the Maleny Playhouse, Maleny Showground, from November 29 to December 14.
Pratchett’s humour takes a playful swipe at conservative conventions of many kinds, especially pomposity, while valuing the simple integrity of a medieval village and a band of strolling players, where the beneficent witches hide a baby King.
