1995 – this was the year Telecom changed its name to Telstra, the Cowboys finished last in their debut season and Yandina Art & Framing commenced trading.
Many things have changed since then – mobile phones now rule the world, the Cowboys have won a premiership but one thing remains constant – the Yandina Art & Framing (YA&F) commitment to serving the local community by providing the highest quality custom framing service.
Brian Curry set the standard for ensuring customers were given work that complimented their décor and was made from the best grade materials.
When Brian retired and sold the business to Bill Gissane in 2015, it was part of the understanding that these traditions would continue. Today, the business’s reputation for providing superior service is cemented in the insistence on spending time during the consultation process.
“Talking to customers about their needs and offering them great solutions is part of our DNA,” Mr Gissane said.
Charmaine, Mitch and Dan all are trained in advanced framing techniques and Sophie brings an extra dimension with her post graduate qualification in painting conservation.
Whether it’s a family heirloom or military medals, YA&F does it all. “We love art and enjoy the experience of presenting it at its best.”
