The Hinterland is starting to sparkle, with homes and businesses dusting off their decorations, checking their lights and brightening up streets in the lead up to Christmas.
While the “correct” date to start decorating might be the cause of some disagreement, most of us can agree that sharing the joy at this time of year trumps all and it’s great to see people getting ready to spread some Christmas cheer.
Keep an eye out in the next few editions of GC&M News and on our socials, where we’ll be sharing some not to be missed Christmas light displays, including the whole of ‘Aspect Estate’ in Glass House Mountains who are busy at work getting homes throughout the estate ready to turn on their lights from December 1.
Mooloolah Valley Community Centre will be counting down to switch on the centre’s lights and laser display on Friday, December 9 and welcome you to come along. While you’re in town, make sure to check out the entries in the local lights competition.
