After eight years, the much loved Jen’s Woodfired Pizza team cooked their last pizza on Sunday November 27 at Finbars in Maleny.
Following a record breaking week, which resulted in two-hour wait times, the community’s outpour of support was the highlight of Jen’s last month.
Being presented with gifts, cards, and flowers has humbled the famous Maleny pizza maker.
“It’s been truly humbling and overwhelming seeing how much we mean to everyone”, Jen said.
The decision to close the business came as a shock, after it was decided that her lease at Finbars was not going to be renewed. But due to all the support and popular demand you will see her open shop somewhere else next year.
“I just want to thank all my beautiful customers for all their love and support over the years”, she said. “The only reason we are who we are is thanks to them and they all brought tears to my eyes this past month”.
