IT’S down to the wire for the finalists in the 2022 Glass House Small Business Awards, with voting closing for the annual local awards next Tuesday August 9.
Like last year, there are four regions – Montville Region, Maleny Region, Glasshouse Region and the Moreton Bay Region which takes in the southern end of the electorate. The business and employee in each region with the most votes will pick up a Bronze Glassie; the Silver Glassie will be selected by the Chamber presidents for true recognition by your peers; and the coveted Gold Glassie will be selected by Andrew Powell and the Chambers – these will go to one business and one employee from across the Glass House electorate.

Our region isn’t made up of large shopping centres, or central business districts – It is out small ‘Mum-and-Dad’ business operators that are the lifeblood of our community.
If you’ve had a wonderful customer service experience from one of our many great local businesses, these awards provide an opportunity to publicly thank them for their great work.
Award recipients will be announced at the Gala Awards event, which will be held on the night of Tuesday August 23, where all nominated businesses will be profiled and celebrated for their efforts.
