Starting on Saturday 25th the Citroen Club of Qld is holding a weekend run leaving 9.30 from the Maleny showgrounds.
The drive will zig zag crossing all the bridges over the Mary River arriving at River Heads where the Mary drains into Great Sandy Strait.
River Heads has a beaut view across to Fraser Island.
This is quite a spectacular drive, so much so the organiser has been encouraged to plan it for the fourth time since 1998.
The public is more than welcome to roll up to the start from 8.45 to view in excess of 20 Citroens from the 50’s to recent models.
Leaving the showgrounds the group will head west along Maleny – Stanley River Rd. to Conondale via Postmans Track. Lunch is in Kenilworth.
The group is overnighting at the Theebine Pub. Sunday will see them finishing the crossings for lunch in River Heads, overnighting again in Theebine.
