Beerwah has faced heavy rainfall today following BOM’s thunderstorm forecast released at 8:50am this morning.
The town saw roughly 3mm of rain, with a chance of thunderstorms in the morning and a chance this afternoon as well.
In the early morning forecast released by BOM, the SE Coast (including Beerwah) were only noted as a possible thunderstorms location on the map, whereas Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Warwick had likely severe thunderstorms coming.
As of January 10, Beerwah can expect another 2mm of rain with a 70 per cent chance of rain.
