Hinterland town dubbed cheapest Coast fuel

MALENY is the cheapest place to fill up the car on the Sunshine Coast according to RACQ’S Annual Fuel Price Report.

The report was released on January 24, recording the average daily, monthly and yearly fuel prices of each town from across Queensland.

Maleny was the cheapest suburb on the Sunshine Coast, with a daily average of 181cpl, and was number five in the top ten cheapest suburbs in Metropolitan SEQ.

Palmview was number six on the top ten cheapest suburbs for fuel in Metropolitan SEQ, and the second most cheapest suburb on the Sunshine Coast, with a daily average of 181.1cpl.

Kenilworth was the fourth most expensive on the Coast, with an average of 193.7cpl.
