New application for Beerwah multi complex

An application has been lodged to build a 12 unit multiple dwelling complex in Beerwah.
A material change of use was lodged with Sunshine Coast Council on February 19, to build a four story multiple residential complex on the existing parcel of land at 9 Laurel Street, Beerwah.
The proposed low rise apartment project would see the existing residential dwelling removed and a unit block built to a height of 15m erected.
The multi-dwelling complex would feature a mixture of one, two and three bedroom units.
The site would have provision for 19 car spaces, as well a motorcycle and bicycle parking. The application documents indicate if approved, the development build will retain the modern country town character of Beerwah.
