Pallet tree Christmas project

This year the Maleny Neighbourhood Centre invited the students from the Maleny Primary School (Yr 5) Maleny River school (Yr 4 ) and the River School Early Childhood Centre to participate in the decoration of the Centre’s new Christmas tree.
Students were supplied with Christmas timber cut outs and pine cones to paint and decorate.
Beautiful decorations have now emerged in the most wonderful and bright colours. The new Christmas Tree was built by Centre volunteer Michael Robinson. His craftsmanship and design will light up the lawn at the front of the Centre.
Materials used for the tree were recycled wooden pallets. Special thanks to Poppy in Year 1 at the Maleny River School for her enthusiasm and artistic ideas. They included making the ornaments for the tree to make it a brighter place this Christmas.
