Shop local in Fisher

FISHER federal MP, Andrew Wallace, is urging the good people of the Fisher electorate to shop local this Christmas, to support community businesses.

He said by doing this one small change, it can make a world of difference for the Fisher electorate, including job creation, voting with your wallet, boost local economy, and reduce environmental footprint.

“Our spending habits can make a significant impact. Fisher is home to amazing and unique businesses, from charming coffee shops to bustling markets. Let’s explore and support these creative ventures!” he said.

“By supporting small businesses, we ensure that money circulates within our local economy, fostering a vibrant, positive, and resilient community.

“Choosing local means less transportation, which helps reduce our environmental footprint. Let’s protect the ‘naturally refreshing’ environment of the Sunshine Coast.”

Agreeing with the thoughts of Roy Morgan, Mr Wallace said more than four of every five Australians believe in the importance of buying local products, evoking an emotional response when purchasing Australian made products.

“When I invest in my local economy, I feel confident that I am receiving premium value for my money,” he said.

“The quality of the product is excellent, and I have the added satisfaction of knowing that my conscious consumer choice has strengthened my community.”

So, make sure you shop local to support your local community!
