The 2024 Australian Surf Life Saving Championships are being held at Coolum Beach, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba and Alexandra Headland between April 13 and April 21 2024, causing various carpark closures.
The closures are between Monday, March 25, and Sunday April 26, 2024. The locations of the closures are below:
Maroochydore:
Melrose Parade carpark at beach end: March 25 – April 24
Cotton Tree Parade/Alexandra Parade carpark: March 25 – April 26
Maroochydore SLSC carpark: April 3 – April 23
Car spaces along eastern side of Alexandra Parade between Melrose Parade and Memorial Avenue: April 2 – April 24
Mooloolaba:
Mooloolaba SLSC carpark: April 8 – April 20
As these events will be held on the main beaches, there will be alternate flagged areas set up for the public during this time.
