AS PART of Queensland Seniors Month celebrations, senior members of the Landsborough Seventh-day Adventist Church hosted a free buffet lunch for church members and senior members of the community including residents from Glasshouse Country Care. The program included entertainment by the Palm Lake Beachmere Singers as well as guest speakers Maree and Bec and Bear the dog from Story Dogs Australia. A donation of $180 was collected to support the work of this organisation that helps develop children’s reading skills. It was a great time of fun, food and fellowship for all the attendees.
