ComBank staff get behind CWA

COMMONWEALTH Bank Beerwah branch employees will donate $500 to QCWA Beerwah as part of a nationwide community donation program.

Commonwealth Bank has pledged to donate a further $400,000 across Australia in support of a campaign to drive positive change within the communities it operates in, aiming to make a difference locally and for all Australians.

Each Commonwealth Bank branch and customer-facing team has been allocated $500 to donate to causes important to their local community.

Beerwah branch manager Gabe Smith said the Beerwah branch team voted to support the great work of QCWA Beerwah.

“More than ever, communities across Australia are feeling the effects of lockdowns and other pandemic-related impacts, so this is one small way we can champion those local organisations who continue to do good work within our community. We are pleased to support QCWA Beerwah,” Gabe said.

The QCWA is Queensland’s largest women’s organisation. It has thousands of members in cities, towns and regions state-wide. The QCWA vision is to support the women of Queensland through friendship, community and connection.
