THE ever-popular Maleny Rotary Calendar Photo competition is up and running and the call is out for entries for the 2025 calendar. This competition is proving more popular each year with 98 entries for the 2024 calendar. Entry forms are available from the Maleny Newsagency, with the closing date for entries on Saturday, June 7.
The 2024 winner was Glenn Ingham with a stunning photo of the Glasshouse Mountains taken from One Tree Hill, followed by Kay Eastmure’s Morning Vista second and Rita Aitken’s Tawny Frogmouths third.
As this calendar is a major fund-raiser providing approximately $9000 for the Rotary Club, it allows us to help many needy projects both local and overseas. Another reason the calendar is a great fundraiser is the very positive support from our local advertisers for which we are grateful.
