LJ Hooker team expands business into Beerwah

With the hinterland property market continuing to gain huge amounts of traction, the team behind the Sunshine Coast’s LJ Hooker Caloundra and Aura are thrilled to have now expanded their business into Beerwah.
With their official opening on Friday April 19, the new office located next to the entrance to Woolworths in Beerwah Marketplace is well positioned to not only boost visibility of their brand, but attract a large amount of passerby interest.
The new office will be led by selling principal Jack Cornford and Jamie O’Brien, with support from Paul and Jo O’Brien.
Also on board is highly respected local agent Theo Grigoriou, whose long standing connections and knowledge in the area are second to none.
“Being located in such a busy retail hub, not only for Beerwah, but the surrounding hinterland towns, is ideal. We’ve already seen between 500-1000 people a day walk past our office so this additional exposure of having a more traditional shopfront with property cards in the window is fantastic, and compliments our modern online sales solutions well,” he said.
Mr Cornford said he was delighted to be part of the team returning to Beerwah, and was pleased to be working with such an experienced, well supported team that not only knew the local area well, but could also tap into the property groups experience with the coastal market to benefit both buyers and sellers.
He said the establishment of the new Beerwah office was also somewhat of a homecoming for Mr O’Brien, who had previously operated an agency in the community for more than a decade.
“Between Paul and Theo, there would be almost 50 years of hinterland property sales experience which is an incredible amount of knowledge to bring to the table,” Mr Cornford said.
He said while the growth in the hinterland area had been phenomenal in recent years, towns like Beerwah still retained a strong sense of community and connection.
“The interest in properties located along the train line corridor is frankly one of the most exciting markets in the country. Beerwah has been one of the success stories of interstate and intrastate migration post-Covid, and the area and its surrounds is a highly attractive semi-rural market that offers an array of lifestyle choices,” said Mr Cornford.
“Opening LJ Hooker Beerwah, we’ll be able to service the needs of local sellers, helping them tap into the trends in the marketplace and leveraging the knowledge of our agents and property managers across both offices.” he added.
“There’s plenty of boutique and niche property teams in the area. We think the local connections we already have, with the backing of LJ Hooker, will appeal to sellers that are looking for greater exposure and premium results.”
LJ Hooker Beerwah also offers property management services, and for the next three months the team will be offering an ‘opening special’ discount on sale commissions. To find out more contact Jack Cornford on 0484 241 803.
